Los primeros seguidores y amigos de Jes\u00fas vieron este amor en acci\u00f3n de primera mano.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Caminaron con \u00c9l mientras realizaba milagros, lo vieron expulsar demonios, curar a los enfermos y amar a los que no eran amados. Uno solo puede imaginar las ondas de choque que golpearon los corazones de los ap\u00f3stoles con cada golpe a los calvos que traspasaban las manos y los pies de Jes\u00fas. \u00bfC\u00f3mo pod\u00edan capturar, torturar y matar a su amigo y Salvador inocente sin motivo?<\/em> \u00c9l era el Hijo de Dios. \u00bfPor qu\u00e9 no detuvo a sus acusadores? \u00bfAcaso estaba impotente? \u00bfLos hab\u00eda abandonado?\u00a0<\/p>

Pero tres d\u00edas despu\u00e9s, sus temores y preguntas cesaron. Jes\u00fas se levant\u00f3 de entre los muertos y se les apareci\u00f3. Hab\u00eda asumido el castigo de ellos sobre s\u00ed mismo. La misericordia fue ofrecida a todos en la cruz, y cuando resucit\u00f3 de la tumba tres d\u00edas despu\u00e9s, la brecha entre la humanidad y Dios se cerr\u00f3. La vida triunf\u00f3 sobre el pecado y la muerte.<\/em><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Pero Dios, que es rico en misericordia, por su gran amor con que nos am\u00f3, aun estando nosotros muertos en pecados, nos dio vida juntamente con Cristo (por gracia sois salvos). Juntamente con \u00e9l nos resucit\u00f3, y asimismo nos hizo sentar en los lugares celestiales con Cristo Jes\u00fas, para mostrar en los siglos venideros las abundantes riquezas de su gracia en su bondad para con nosotros en Cristo Jes\u00fas \u2013 Efesios 2:4-7<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

La Pascua es una prueba de que no importa cu\u00e1n sombr\u00eda se vea una situaci\u00f3n, la vida es posible. No solo el tipo de vida que apenas lo logra, sino el tipo de vida que corre libre y respira con tranquilidad: la vida para la que fuiste hecho.<\/em><\/p>

\u00bfEst\u00e1s cansado? \u00bfTu vida se siente vac\u00eda? Ven a Jes\u00fas. Abre tu coraz\u00f3n con gran anticipaci\u00f3n y expectativa. Easter is an exciting time of celebration. Enjoying the warmth of spring and blooming flowers reminds us of the power of life. But Easter holds more. It is about dormant hearts waking up to hope. It is a celebration of wholeness from devastation and victory over brokenness. Jesus\u2019 love for us defines Easter. Easter is the true story of Jesus being crucified on the cross for our sins, rising from the dead three days later, and offering us the same living power that dwelled inside of him. And God raised the Lord and will also raise us up by his power. \u2013 1 Cor. 6:14 That is something to celebrate! The first followers and friends of Jesus saw this love at work firsthand. They walked with him as he performed miracles \u2014 watching him cast out demons, heal the sick, and love the unlovable. One can only imagine the shockwaves that pounded the apostles\u2019 hearts with each nail driven into Jesus\u2019 hands and feet. How could their innocent friend and Savior be captured, tortured, and killed without cause? He was the Son of God. Why didn\u2019t he stop his accusers? Was he powerless? Had he abandoned them?  But three days later, their fears and questions ceased. Jesus rose from the dead and appeared to them. He had taken their punishment upon himself. Mercy was given to all on the cross, and when he rose from the grave three days later, the gap between humanity and God was closed. Life was victorious over sin and death. But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ \u2014 by grace you have been saved \u2014 and raised us up with him and seated us with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, so that in the coming ages he might show the immeasurable riches of his grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. \u2013 Ephesians 2:4-7 Like the disciples, maybe you feel alone \u2014 abandoned by God. Easter is proof that no matter how grim a situation looks, life is possible. Not just barely-making-it-by kind of life but running-free-and-breathing-easy sort of life \u2014 the life you were made for. Are you tired? Does your life feel empty? Come to Jesus. Open your heart with great anticipation and expectation.
